Traveling to Finland and Turku

Connections to Turku
It is possible to reach Turku by flying. Airport is located seven kilometers away from the city centre. Airways AirBaltic, Finnair, Wingo xprs, SAS/Blue1, Turku Air - Business Flights and Wizz Air offer connections to Turku. Another option is to fly to the Helsinki-Vantaa airport (various airways) and continue to Turku by train or bus. Train from Tikkurila or Helsinki city centre to Turku takes approximately two hours and costs 30 EUR. Railway stations are easy to access from the airport by busses (e.g. 615 Helsinki 4,00 € 40 min and 61 Tikkurila 2,50 € 25 min). A regular bus connection to Turku from Helsinki-Vantaa airport takes circa 2.5 hours and costs around 30 EUR.
There is a harbor in Turku. If you are travelling via Stockholm, you might prefer to take a ferry through the beautiful archipelago. The daily ferryboat connections are operated by Viking Line and Tallink Silja, and the duration of the voyage is about 12 hours.
